Hands-on training for educators: addressing complex topics and dilemmas through dialogue:
About the idea behind the training:
There are a lot of challenges, burning issues and dilemmas in our world nowadays. It may be topics
connected to sustainability, human rights or democracy. In many contexts we experience polarization,
black-and-white perspective, debates and arguing. Through this training we want to reflect
with an international group of professionals on this challenge and share the approaches and methods
which can create an alternative and open space for more dialogue about complex topics and dilemmas.
Instead of engaging in debates, arguing and commenting we want to create spaces where it is possible
to ask questions, reflect and listen to better understand other perspectives and create deeper
connections in our communities.
Join us if you want to:
- reflect on the topic of polarization and your own attitudes and patterns
- learn practical methods on how to talk about dilemmas, polarizing and complex topics
- learn practical methods on how to foster dialogue with your target group
- get to know what are the basics of creating inclusive and participatory space for your group
- exchange with professionals from Poland, Estonia and German
